We are a family oriented camp where you will build memories to be cherished for years to come. We have been host to families for over 52 years. Many guests are the third generation to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Frio Canyon at Crider's. When our old friends show up each year it's like a big family reunion for us. Why don't you bring your family and become a part of ours?

We are open all year. Each season the Texas Hill Country offers a unique and special beauty. After the summer rush when the area is quiet and peaceful is an ideal time to visit us.

Recently the Texas Forestry Service notified us that we have the largest tree in the state of Texas. It is a bald cypress, towering over Buffalo Creek and the West side of the camp. The Forestry Service estimated it to be anywhere between 300 and 700 years old. We have a special area on our website with information about this beautiful and historic tree.
