Then in the evening there is a head of 40-50 Axis Deer that pass through.
The Axis Deer is often considered the most beautiful of the deer family. Both male and female have eye-catching reddish-brown coats marked by white spots arranged in rows along their sides. They have a black stripe down their backs and white bibs on their neck, white inner legs, stomach, and under-tail.
The Male heights range as tall as 39.5 inches. The Axis at maturity, weigh as much as 250 pounds. Males have antlers, and darker facial markings with a more "scowling" expression the older they get. Bucks are larger bodied, and have thicker necks and broader chests than the does.
